Colonel Farrington Barcolow (1771-1851) Personal Effects. A sash, hat, powder horn and trunk with initials CB. Colonel Barcolow escorted Lafayette in NJ during his farewell tour in 1824.
The trunk is very good with original paint. Hat is split and deteriorating. Sash has a diamond pattern throughout, some tears and holes present but no excessive staining and is of good quality material. Please see photograph preview. A nice grouping of early U.S. New Jersey Militia.
