A fine French Louis XIV style brass inlaid
tortoiseshell veneered and ormolu mounted
center table, late 19th century, executed in the
style of André-Charles Boulle (French, 1642-
1732), with a shaped top and bronze edge
centering an intricately inlaid top above a frieze
fitted with a locking drawer (some inlay lifting),
the sides of serpentine form and each with a
mask, the whole raised on stylized caryatid form
cabriole legs fitted with chutes and trailing to
sabots
Dimensions: 31” x 57” x 39”

Condition: Multiple areas of lifting and loss noted. Any loose parts have been stored in the drawer for repair. Even bronze patina.
